THe Dream

Although vivid and clear

I waver in your validity

For you are but a spectacle

Your value is but present

In that moment of disparity

Between myself and another

For you, dream, I ask

What is your goal?

What may you accomplish, with as many alarming details you assume?

Abnormal visions of falling

Through clouded skies,

Past layers of climatic change.

How I watch intently,

As if the audience and performer

Of a play that may not exist.

How odd I feel

To be alone in a theater

Performing and observing a show unfold.

The first stanza and the last stanza are my favorites.
