They never stop talking throughout the night. Loud vocalizing is heard at all hours of the night. I wish I knew what they were saying. . . All I hear is spanish and the sound of beer cans continuously being opened.
Tonight I went to Union Square. It reminded me of high school. Oodles of freshman that are strewn across Union Square as though it is a large pla
yground for college students. I hope that the
kids I go to school with are not as juvenile as these kids appeared. I'm hoping for really interesting kids from all over. From what I can see so far, that is what I am getting.
I actually stopped by Strand for the first time since I arrived in New York. I was looking for the monograph book of Andy Warhol's portraits. I was hoping for a price that was cheaper than the Met. I was disturbed to find that the Met was selling it for $6 less than what Strand was asking. And the Strand copies were much more tattered than the Met copies that were perfectly new, still wrapped in the plastic. Regardless I decided I would wait to by Andy Warhol portraits the next time I visited the Met. Hopefully it will still be there. I was very attached to the idea that I would have it in my possession. The idea of having large prints in a book form, constantly at my fingertips, excites me to the core! Anyway I settled on two other books of Andy Warhol's pieces and commentary's by other artists. One is called Unseen: Andy Warhol and the other is called The Andy Warhol Show. There were so many Andy books to choose from, but I definitely am satisfied with the two I chose! I have some pictures of the books I picked up below! AND above I have one of my favorite erotic pieces by Andy.

I love this Self-portrait of Andy.
