Orientation

Who new that this whole experience of college would be so time consuming! But it really is. Now for the past couple of days I have been all over the place. Meeting lots of people and hanging in the city with very well read and classy people. I have enjoyed it so far. It is all nice and comfortable right now cause no one has classes. We are all just chillin out enjoying the city and all the splendors it has to offer. Yesterday Trey Garrett and I took a visit to GORGEOUS central park and took a trip out on the boats in the pond. That was very pretty and fun. Then we traveled back into town for some nightly events.
The previous night I had visited the Union Square Dorms for some drinks and fun then out to Dr. Fragoso's dorm to have a shirt conversation with his roommate about his dating life. I enjoyed hearing the life of a Parson's student. I have actually taken trips into all of the different dorms except Loeb. I suppose that I just don't know anyone in that hall yet. I am very lucky to have some friends who don't mind if I bunk with them over night so that I don't have to take the trek all the way back to Queens every night. Its actually very nice. So hopefully tonight I will find something enjoyable to do and find some new friends to hang out with!
I am SUPER excited for the day that I move in to my own room out here in Astoria. I have shopped for all of the necessary items to make the room my own, as well as bought ample art supplies to get started on some art work, that I am ridiculously excited about! I have oil paints, pastels, sketch pads, canvases, you name it. It has been a long month of not having my own room and just bunking on the uncomfortable floor of my brother's living room. But soon that will all be behind me and I can enjoy the comfort of my own bed and air conditioner and desk and everything else. OH GEEE. I can't wait! To spare you the expense of my rambles I will finish the post with some pictures accumulated from orientation in all different facets! Hope they are enjoyable.
