VCU

I will be leaving New York next semester for Richmond, VA. The news is official. I have made up my mind and am attending the university in the fall. I am excited to leave this city and can't say that I miss all that much. Good bye unhappy people and crude industrial buildings in Queens. Goodbye unhappy room mates. Good bye overpriced goods. Good bye pretensions. Good bye exclusivity. Good bye loud, obnoxious neighbors. Good bye long commutes at six in the morning in the frigid city air. Good bye inaccessible parties. Good bye city days that never end. Good bye sleepless nights. Good bye BED BUGS that bite me into the wee hours of the morning. I will not miss you in the low profile housing of Richmond, VA with my fellow friends that will delight me as they always faithfully do.
I am ready for a community.
I am ready for a different, maybe less stressful environment.
I'm sure that people who know me right now are thinking that I am crazy, but I really found what I want in life in this last semester in the big city and I am happy about that.
So farewell for now, New York
