Caution: This movie is SEXY.

Recently I viewed Antonioni's Blow-up. It was a great film, that fully encapsulated the era where 1960's mod fashion ruled. The film centers around Thomas: a womanizing mod photographer living in a studio apartment in East-London. As far hip goes, Thomas has the eye for what is in and happening. Thomas is demanding and temperamental with his models at times. Thomas denies the excitable hipsters that frolic around his studio apartment, in hopes of one day joining the modeling queue of fancy designers that boast the added priveleges of working alongside his eager crew. It seems that Thomas also adds foreplay into the myriad of provocation and sex that he calls "photo shoots".

Don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for the benefits of a well-written screenplay and good fashion, but as I realized at the end of the film, the best part was undoubtedly the sex. This must have been Antonioni's forte as every scene in the movie oozes sex appeal. I had to refrain myself from partaking in the fun;0 as I viewed this one. I defnitely recommend this film for couples that are awkwardly gearing themselves to be sexually active. I think it will help as I could not restrain myself, and I was all alone. It is also perfectly fine to view alone or with friends (stuffed animals included).
