I'd say today was lounge-y

So today I discovered a french classic that my french teacher did not expose our class to, for reasons I could understand. Masculin Feminin is a gorgeous Jean-Luc Goddard film that I viewed early in this lazy sunday of which I haven't done much of anything besides recovering from last night's escapades and questioned the major I have chosen in college hard-core. So I absolutely fell in love with the actor that starred as Paul, the love interest, named Jean-Pierre Leaud. I have actually seen him in Les Quatre-Sont Coups earlier, but he was only a kid in that movie. Grown up he is quite the looker and when he smiled my heart stopped a little. Disregard that teeny bopper statement. I loved the style that the character Madeleine had. She had this flawless page-boy haircut and was always donning the long very defined and shapely coats popular in the 60's. She was all about the flats as well and the boxy dresses. The movie itself was centered around these fabulous intellectual conversations and the battle for love between the inner group of friends that circled around the developing pop star, Madeleine. I thoroughly enjoyed it and think that it is a must see for anyone interested in the Vietnam era, when revolution and communist sentiments ruled the world.
